♡ I’M JEMMA - OWNER AND FACE BEHIND LITTLE JEM’S PHOTOGRAPHY ♡
I’m a mum to two beautiful girls, an Early Years Education graduate, and a trained, experienced (and slightly bonkers) photographer.
Being a parent myself means I completely understand that babies and children don’t always follow the plan! I’ve experienced the sleepless nights, teething, tantrums, poorly days and all the worries that come with parenthood, along with all of those gorgeous first smiles, first steps, little personalities and special milestones too.
That’s why my sessions are always relaxed and child-led. I may have ideas planned, but nothing is ever forced. I’m very happy to take things at your little one’s pace, and if they need extra time to settle, a cuddle, a snack, a break, or even a photographer making ridiculous noises with a rubber duck on her head... that’s absolutely fine with me! 😂
My aim is to make you feel comfortable, enjoy the experience and, most importantly, leave with beautiful photographs you’ll love.

There are so many of us out there, and it can feel a little overwhelming and confusing trying to find someone who suits you, your family and the way you’d love your little (and not so little) ones to be captured.
Every photographer is different. We all have our own style, way of working, pricing and experience, so it’s really about finding someone who feels right for you.
Here at Little Jem’s, I offer a relaxed, friendly studio experience with lots of choice. Everything is planned around what you love best, and believe me, I have tonnes of lovely sets and props to choose from to suit everyone’s taste. I capture your babies, children and family just as they are, with no forced timings and no expectation for little ones to perform on cue! And the best bit? No hidden or confusing costs - everything is kept simple and straightforward.
